A chatbot that understands what people write
Not an option menu that makes the customer guess the right number. They write to it like they would to a person, and it answers from your catalog.
What makes an AI chatbot different
The word "chatbot" ended up attached to something almost nobody wants: an option menu that solves nothing.
A classic chatbot runs on rules. Someone writes a list of possible messages and, for each one, a fixed reply. If the customer writes something nobody planned for — and they always do — the bot answers nonsense or asks them to pick an option from 1 to 5.
An AI chatbot does not work from that list. It interprets the message: it understands that "got the black one in M?", "do you have any black jacket left in medium" and "the one in the photo but in black" are the same question.
The part almost nobody looks at
Understanding the question is half of it. The other half is where the answer comes from.
A raw AI model answers whatever sounds right, and if it does not know the price it makes one up with complete confidence. That is the chatbot that creates a problem with a customer instead of saving you work.
Here the chatbot is forbidden from guessing the data that matters. When someone asks for a price or whether something is in stock, it goes to your catalog, looks it up, and only then replies. If it is not there, it says so and tells them a human will answer.
What the customer sees
The same enquiry, with a menu bot and with one that understands.
😓 Option menu
- "Press 1 for sales, 2 for shipping, 3 for anything else"
- If they type anything else, the menu starts over
- It does not know whether the product is in stock: it hands over
- Two messages in, it is obviously a robot
- The customer ends up typing "I want to talk to a human"
⚡ AI chatbot
- Understands the question however the customer phrases it
- Answers price and stock by checking your catalog
- Follows the thread: it remembers what was said earlier
- Builds the order as the customer asks for things
- Hands over to a person when the case calls for it, not always
No coding and no consultants
There are no flowcharts and no decision trees. You fill in a form.
-
01
Connect your WhatsApp
Your current number, with your contacts and your conversations. Nothing to change and nobody to notify.
-
02
Load your catalog
Products, prices and stock. It is what the chatbot checks before replying, so it is what decides whether it is any good.
-
03
Write how it speaks
What you sell, how you talk to your customers and what it must never promise. It is a form, not code.
-
04
Try it before turning it on
There is a test panel where you message it as if you were a customer. No real customer sees anything until you say so.
What people ask before starting
Yes: regular WhatsApp Business does not let another program answer for you. That is a WhatsApp requirement, not ours, and you do not have to sort it out alone.
Yes, with a button in the chat. The assistant goes quiet for that customer and everyone else keeps being served. It also never talks over a human: if someone on your team already replied, it will not send a second answer.
Yes, and it is the first thing worth doing. Opening hours, delivery areas, payment methods and returns are most of what gets answered every day.
It says a human will reply and flags it in your inbox. It is the judgement you would expect from a new hire: better to say "let me check" than to make something up.
What comes after understanding what it is
Inside the AI agent
How it checks your catalog before speaking and what it is forbidden to invent.
Chatbot or AI agent
The real difference between following a script and deciding what to look up.
One single inbox
Where the conversations the chatbot cannot close land.
Message it as if you were your customer
We load a few of your products and you watch it answer with your prices.
